MY STORY
I have been a chef for over 25 years.
I started my career in Canada where I earned my culinary degree as well as my Red Seal journeysman certificate.
I have worked in many restaurants alongside numerous talented chefs and other wonderful individuals in the industry from front of house staff to farmers to sommeliers. Throughout my career I have had so many opportunities to learn about different cuisines and culinary techniques.
After moving to Florida in 2015, I began teaching culinary classes for kids and adults at various venues including Sur La Table in South Tampa, Dunedin Fine Art Center in Dunedin, Casa Di Mazzaros in St. Pete.
As a caterer, I have been invited into client's home around Tampa Bay to create individualized, high end cooking and catering experiences.
In 2022 I was privileged to join ARC Tampa Bay as their head chef instructor for their new Culinary Institute. It is a very special program teaching cooking skills to empower and support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
I absolutely love sharing my food and what I know about ingredients, culinary techniques, and cuisines with people of all walks of life.
When I am not cooking, you will usually find me enjoying time
outdoors with my wife and 2 kids.
